For Sale: 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass in Phoenix, Arizona for sale in Phoenix, AZ

1 of 25
Vehicle Description 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 2 door (pillar post sedan) I'm hoping to sell it to someone that can do a little body work (or knows someone who does).
There is only one spot where there is rust perforation.
There are several dings and blemishes that would have to be fixed prior to painting.
The drive train and motor are solid.
In fact, it is the ultimate sleeper car, plain Jane on the outside, rock solid on the inside.
The previous owner built the engine/ car following guidelines in an old car magazine.
The article was called Junkyard Dog.
The motor is a 455 cu in with C heads, (free flowing), high lift cam, Torker manifold, high volume (or high pressure) oil pump, HD water pump, 4 core radiator, HD starter, headers, dual exhaust and all appropriate gauges.
The transmission:
TH400, 3500 stall torque converter, rock crusher tough.
Rear end:
Postitraction 10 bolt (should be upgraded to 12 bolt).
Other stuff:
I've owned the car for 23 years, and it does come with some fun extra parts like another 455 motor.
I installed new springs/ shocks and power disk brakes some years ago.
Glass is good.
Recovered seats and headliner.
Alarm.
Final note:
Cash only.
Transfer of title (which is clear), will be made at my bank.
If you don't have a garage or if you have to ask your wife for permission to buy this car, it's probably not the one for you.
I only intend on advertising my car for 30 days, as I have 2 grandsons who are eager to see the Cutlass not sold.
