1 of 48
Vehicle Description This is a beautiful one-owner 1997 Jaguar XK8 Convertible that has accumulated 35,000 miles from new.
This XK would make a terrific classic daily driver or weekend fun car.
We love the stunning color combination and reliable drivetrain.
The XK was bought new at Jake Kaplaus, Ltd Jaguar in Providence, RI, by John McQuillan, PhD, on December 31, 1996.
Several years later the XK was transported to their winter homes in Wyoming, California and finally in Scottsdale, AZ.
For the past 24 years the XK has been cared for by its original owner.
We are now selling it on his behalf.
The livery is in the stunning Carnival Red Metallic that is in excellent condition, reflective of its life lived inside a garage since new.
There are only a few very small chips and a small area on the passenger side front air dam, otherwise the paint is wonderful.
The wheels are also in excellent condition without any serious road rash.
The radials are in excellent condition, but DOT date coded from 2004.
The convertible top, as with the rest of this Jaguar, is in showroom condition.
The Ivory leather interior is in excellent condition with only a slight amount of wear showing on the driver's seat.
The leather is very soft and supple.
The gorgeous wood dash is in excellent condition and is nearly new.
All instrumentation work well and the interior is very comfortable.
The 4.
0 liter V8 has 290 hp that performs very well on the road.
The five-speed automatic makes for smooth shifting and good fuel economy on the highways.
The XK comes complete with all of its Owner's Manuals, three sets of keys and its top boot.
The owner will provide the service history at a later date as they are in storage in Wyoming.
