The Tiptronic S automatic is an excellent transmission that was also used from 2003 to 2010 in all Porsche Cayenne SUV, Volkswagen Toureg and Audi Q7 models.
It is an excellent transmission.
I own 2 Porsche 911s and never thought I wanted a Boxster or an automatic transmission, but it corners flat, accelerates rapidly, and is easily manually controlled with the sport wheel paddle shift.
The automatic convertible top is a dream, and this car is just so much fun to drive.

I liked it so much a bought a newer Boxster so must give this one up.
