Vehicle Description 1965 CHRYSLER 300L COUPE, VERY NICE, TRIPPEL BLACK CAR.
Rare and very nice 1965 Chrysler 300L, the last year of the letter cars from Chrysler.
Black body, black vinyl top and black leather interior.
This beautiful car has had a lot of work and a lot of money spent on it during the last 5
years and it belonged to a semi-large Mopar collection until now.
The car is loaded with options, almost all options you could get when ordering the car new.
413 engine and it has aftermarket 2x4 bbl carburetors, brand new aluminum intake and Edelbrock carburetors, PW, P-vent windows, P-seats on both sides, P-antenna, P-trunk opening, Cruise control, leather interior, front bucket seats with built in head rests, radio, rear defroster, front disc brakes etc.
New aftermarket 17 Mopar aluminum wheels with new redline tires.
The car received a complete and expensive repaint within the last 3-4 years and has not been back on the road since.
The paint was color sanded and polished and it is super nice.
The body is excellent, dry, rust free and straight.
The chrome has been trippel plated and the stainless trim has been professionally polished before being installed after the paint job was done.
New shocks, the front end is really tight and nice and has been rebuilt as needed, new motor mounts and trans mounts, new dual exhaust system.
Boiled out fuel tank, redone radiator, new battery, new universal joints and on and on.
The owner had three 1965 300L cars at the restoration shop to be restored at the same time and the cars were there for years and he is not 100% sure now if the engine in this 2drht was rebuilt or if he only had the cylinder heads redone including hardened valve seats.
It runs excellent either way.
A LOT of money has been spent on making the Chrysler a super nice car, starting with an excellent car, it is a show car not to be compared to a tired unrestored 58 year old car! It was not done to sell but to keep in a 35 car, high quality Mopar collection.
But a recent retirement made him decide to thin out the collection so this beautiful car plus two 300L convertibles are now for sale.
We are currently finishing up installing the last stainless trim and chrome after the repaint and the car will be ready to drive and enjoyed soon.
It should be finished in late December or early January.
