Vehicle Description 1958 CHEVROLET APACHE STEPSIDE, BIG BACK WINDOW.
This 1958 Apache is an Arizona truck, around 98%-99% rust free.
The owner of the last 9 years have spent a lot of money building the truck he always wanted but an expanding business it taking all his time and money so the truck is for sale as you see it.
Mechanically it is all done, the LT1 engine out of a 1996 Corvette has less than 500 miles on a complete rebuild.
Since it is a Corvette engine it has aluminum heads and it has the original fuel injection.
New aluminum radiator, custom made headers and the new exhaust with 2 mufflers ends just before the rear end.
The automatic transmission, 4L60 also has a fresh rebuild, custom made aluminum drive shaft.
New wiring harness.
The independent rear end is a Thunderbird posi unit, also freshly rebuilt.
Brakes are disc brakes all around.
The front end is a Mustang II.
There's a new rear mounted aluminum fuel tank under the bed.
The truck is completely running and driving and the owner put just under 500 miles on the truck in the last 2 years.
His business has kept him from finishing the build, it still needs paint, very, very minor rust repair (cab corners have a little rust, new corners are included), the doors have new one piece glass kits, not installed yet.
The truck comes with a stainless kit for the bed with install kit but not the wood.
Rims and tires are new of course, 20 inch.
Do some minor work like installing the door glass, bed planks etc and drive the truck as is or paint it and make it really nice, either way, the big money is spent and the majority of the work is done! PRICE:
$23.
