Vehicle Description 1960 CADILLAC 6 WINDOW SEDAN, 4DRTH, ARIZONA CAR.
I bought this very cool 1960 Cadillac from a friend way down in southern Arizona where it has been for the last 50 years.
It has 80.
300 original miles on it, most miles were put on the car during the first 10-15 years of its life.
My friend loved old cars and owned many but he rarely drove them.
As you can see the paint, what is left of it is original and very sunburned.
More on the left side and less sunbaked on the right side.
The patina is fantastic and real, not fake.
The body is super straight, the only rust is behind each rear wheel, very little is each rocker panel and at the very bottom of the front fenders.
The rest of the sheet metal is excellent.
The chrome is exceptionally clean, I doubt you can find a 1960 Cadillac with better original chrome.
I have done tons of work on the car since purchasing it:
Engine service including lubing the lifters and the cylinders before turning the engine over the first time.
Fresh engine oil and filter.
New battery Rebuilt original carburetor.
New water pump, thermostat and fuel pump plus radiator hoses, heater hoses and fuel hoses.
Flushed the fuel tank and radiator.
Rebuilt brakes inc new wheel cylinders and master cylinder and also new hoses.
Replaced 2 cracked windows Just had a new dual exhaust installed with 2 Flowmaster mufflers Complete new interior, front and rear seats, headliner and sun visors, new carpet, redone kick panels, redone package tray, new windlace, carpet at the bottom of the door panels etc.
All Power windows and door locks were lubed and are now working fine.
4 new radial tires with wide white walls ETC, ETC, ETC The Cadillac starts, runs and drives again after the years of inactivity.
I would personally leave the paint the way it is and just drive this supe cool old Cadillac as you see it but it is a matter of choice of course.
We have sold cars worldwide since 1986 so export is never a problem.
