Contact Private Seller for sale in Phoenix, AZ
I am selling my 2010 Yamaha WR250X.
It has been very lightly used since I purchased it in April 2014 from Cochise Motorsports in Sierra Vista, at which point it had about 4500 miles on the odometer.
I am the second owner, and it now has only 6500 miles.
I never got into using it as a supermoto as intended and quickly picked up a second set of wheels and tires so I could switch back and forth to be equivalent to a WR250R to tackle some off-roading.
Over time I started adding more accessories, thinking I would turn it into a small ADV bike, but lost interest and basically stopped riding when I started getting more capable off-road cars and other interests.
The 250 engine combined with my height made long highway travel like would be needed for a long adventure pretty miserable.
It has been basically gathering dust except for short trips for a couple of years now, so it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
The bike has been garaged for all but a few months the entire time I have owned it.
Here are the mods that were installed by the first owner:
Evotech sump guard Stock street tires (Bridgestone Battlax BT090) - 17 front and back Evotech axle sliders Easton EA70 tapered handlebar Pro Grip 714 dual sport grips Zeta billet kit (red bling) Flatland Racing aluminum radiator guard 12oclockLabs Exup Servo Eliminator 12oclockLabs integrated tail light/fender eliminator DRC Type 602 rear turn signals Zeta chain guards And here is what I added over time:
Zeta Pro Armor hand guard and mount kit Tusk Pannier Racks Tusk Aluminum Panniers Warp 9 wheels with Shinko 244 tires (21 front, 18 rear) Seat Concepts seat Scaggs Billet Big Rack Parabellum Rally Shield Antigravity Lithium battery Battery tender harness Switching between street and dirt wheels is really easy and takes 20 minutes.

I also have the longer kickstand that would be needed when it is higher off the ground with the larger wheels.
The WR250X was only manufactured for a few years and the WR line is no longer manufactured at all and has very long maintenance intervals and high reliability.
The only trouble I ever had with this bike was a fuel pump issue that was an acknowledged recall by Yamaha and was fixed by a replacement pump.
Serious inquiries only please.
I am trying to sell the bike with both wheel sets and the panniers ideally, but might consider a reasonable offer without the second set of wheels.
